Corn Chowder
Dan and I love this recipe and quite often make it on a snowy day! It's a cream based soup with potatoes, bacon and corn. Yummy! We usually quadruple the recipe though to have a nice sized pot of soup simmering.

Ingredients
- 5 slices bacon
- 1 onion, diced
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 2 c corn (we freeze corn in the summer and use it for this recipe)
- 1 c diced potatoes (cooked)
- 2½ c milk
- salt (to taste)
- pepper (to taste)
Instructions
- Dice potatoes and boil until soft. Drain.
- Cut bacon into small pieces and then fry bacon and onion.
- Drain grease.
- Combine all ingredients and heat to simmering. Stir frequently.
- Once simmering, remove from heat, and it is ready to serve!
