Open fall positions include: “Corn Cops” (Corn Maze & Admission Area Staff), Tractor Drivers for Weekend Wagon Rides, & Donut Makers. Descriptions are listed below. Please note: we are looking for staff age 16 and older for this audition. Child labor laws prevent 14- and 15-year-olds from working past 7pm during the school year and we are in need of people that will be able to work until 7:30pm. We have already fully staffed the shifts available for younger staff.

(Due to our farming season, we do not have any summer-only positions other than summer educators. All other positions continue through fall or beyond.)

Positions and descriptions

Farm Store Cashier:
Are you friendly, energetic, and outgoing? Do you love fresh, healthy foods and chatting with others? If this fits you, you will help customers find what they need and ring up their purchases. Needed year round.

Produce Display:
Happy people with attention to detail needed to sort peaches and apples and other produce by quality and size for the retail store and for wholesale orders. Needed year round.

Kitchen Assistant:
Do you love the smile you see on a child’s face when she is handed an ice cream cone? You can deliver smiles all day long! Come work in our kitchen where we will scoop ice cream and make hot dogs, wraps, BBQ, and all kinds of other yummy treats. Also looking for people interested in making kettle corn and/or french fries for the fall weekends as well as other cooking and baking needs (must be at least 18 to cook/bake). Needed May – October.

Donut Maker:
Love donuts? You will be extremely popular to the line of customers waiting for those freshly made donuts! Needed year round, minimum age is 18.

Cooking/Baking Team:
It takes a team! You’ll bake cookies, pies, breads and other delicious treats. You’ll also learn how to make all of our homemade soups. You’ll be part of a fun team! Needed year round, minimum age is 18.

U-Pick & Summer/Fall Fun Admission Cashiers:
Energetic, fun people who like to be outdoors will love this job. These people explain the different varieties of apples available for pick-your-own, and take money for the corn maze & pick-your-own fruits. Needed Saturdays and Sundays in September and October, as well as Labor Day and Columbus Day. Prefer age 18 or older, must be at least 16.

“Corn Cops” (Fall Fun Admission Area and Corn Maze Staff):
Do you love to make people laugh? Are you outgoing and energetic? Do you love being outdoors? Come be a “Day-Maker!” Lots of people are needed to make our entertainment area work. Staff are needed to guide people in the corn maze, watch over the u-pick areas, and oversee some of the bigger attractions, such as cow train, pedal karts, jumping pillow, mega slide and other activities. You’ll get the chance to do it all by rotating through the different areas during your shift which makes this job one of the most fun jobs! And…we want you to have FUN with our customers!  Grumpy people need not apply. Needed weekends in September and October, as well as Labor Day and Columbus Day if available. Prefer ages 18 and older, but 16 & 17-year-olds are welcome to apply.

Tractor Driver:
We provide wagon rides for our guests on Saturdays and Sundays in September and October as well as Labor Day & Columbus Day. This is a short-term, fun job that gets you out of the house and into the fresh air to enjoy the beautiful fall. You must be 18 or older and love to talk with people. You don’t just sit and drive, we want you to have fun with our guests!

Summer Farm Educators:
Do you love kids? Do you love farms? Do you love to teach? We offer a summer story time in July and August as well as educational tours on weekdays in July & August. The tours include an educational talk about orchards (training provided), blueberry picking, wagon ride, and play time. If you are looking for just a few hours a week and you love children – this job is for you.  We will train you, no experience necessary, but retired teachers make awesome farm educators! Minimum age is 18.
